Tongan Language week

For Tongan language week, we've been learning on slides, about the history, languages and a lot of other things about Tonga which is very interesting for me. every day we have to pick out one thing to read up to, and type what we've learnt about, and then out it on our blog. so this is what I've learnt:

  1. Hi Aaliyah,
I also like to learn about other culture and they are some interesting facts, so good choices there. Please reread your blog and make sure you are using the right word in the right place, and makes sense. Also always start a new sentence with a capital letter, this will make it easier to read.

  2. Kia ora Aaliyah,

I really like how you shared your learning with us. I didn't know we had 60, 336 Tongans living in New Zealand.

Did you find anything tricky while doing this?

Looking forward to future blog posts,
    Miss Laxa

  3. Hi Aaliyah!

I like learning new stuff about other pacific cultures too.. were you surprised that Tonga was the third largest? I thought it would’ve been the second!

Last week I learnt there are 100 hundred islands that make up Tongan. I wonder if that population of over 100,000 live in all those different islands!

    Happy learning
